The last thing Ruby wanted on the one year anniversary of her girlfriend Anna’s death was to get caught trying to steal her ashes from her family’s living room.

She especially didn’t want to be caught by Grace, Anna’s older sister.

Especially not after what happened at the wake.

Ruby and Grace aren’t friends — not anymore. But time hasn’t healed anything, and deep down they both know that — if they ever want peace — they each have a score to settle. So, with only a bottle of brandy, a karaoke machine and a lot of unresolved grief, they set out on a journey across Melbourne over a rollicking twenty-four hours to try and give Anna the send-off she deserves.
