Ellis Austin Finnie is a writer and theatre-maker living in Naarm/Melbourne.

She was shortlisted for the Midsumma Queer Playwrights Award for her play Ramona Glasgow and was recently selected to participate in La Mama’s ‘Scratch’ series for emerging playwrights.

In 2024, she was a featured artist with Sundries Studios, documenting her creative process for her latest play Fairytalers, which will premiere in August 2025.
